Hi, I’m Hani Mourra from Easy Online Video Marketing Tips Today, I’m gonna share with you you the exact steps on how to create an engaging whiteboard video. A video that keeps your audience’s attention, keeping them wanting more….

And the best of all I’m gonna show you how to do this without spending a dime! That’s right, without spending a single dime. Sounds too good to be true? Well, let’s find out… Okay, before we get started… Let’s make sure you got all the tools in place There are three things that you need.

One, you need a computer.

Two, you need internet connection.

And three, you need YOU!

You need to be there whether it’s your video, your face, picture, or your voice! No matter what it is you need to be there you need to be there to deliver your message. and deliver it with passion. Now. let’s talk about the video itself. Each video is made up of three parts. I know, three is my favourite number.

One, your intro. What is your whiteboard video about. One line should be able to explain what your video’s about and, please, please, please, please, please don’t talk about yourself, your accomplishments people don’t care. Two, the MEAT of your video, the substance. what’s your video, what is the solution that you’re describing. Get to the answer right away. And three, Call to Action and scripting for your whiteboard video. Tell them exactly what you want them to do. If you want them to pick up the phone and call a number Tell ’em exactly what to do. Be very clear.

Okay, the top presentation styles. There are three, yes, I said it there are three presentation styles. First, it’s the Powerpoint Slide Presentation Style Put up some Powerpoint and talk about them and you record that as a video. Now, there are amazing tools out there. But we’re talking free here. If you have Powerpoint 2010 or newer. And on a Mac, Keynote, you are good to go.

All you need to do is take your existing presentation Hit the record button built into the software, and guess what… It let’s you save that whole presentation as a movie file. Perfect. Done! Nothing else you need to do. Next style of presentation, is the screencasts. Now, screencasts simply means someone’s recorded the screen just showing you how to do something! Great for How-To type of videos. Now, if you’re on Mac, Simple, if you have QuickTime. Fire QuickTime, and you can record your screen. On PC, unfortunately, the QuickTime on PC doesn’t support that. But great news, It’s a great website called www.screencast-omatic.com Beautiful.

You don’t need any software Fire it up. You record your screencast,  git save and it saves right to your hard drive. Amazing! in MP4 format which is very small compact and compatible with almost all web video players. All right, third style is the talking head just like I’m talking to you right now. Now, a couple of tools you need. If you’re on Mac your good to go QuickTime will let you record yourself like what I’m using right now If you’re on PC, you can use Windows Movie Maker Now, what I’ve noticed though you need to download something called Windows Live Essential 2011 Pack Now, I put a link on my blog so you can’t miss it. Basically, this pack will is an free upgrade to your Windows Live and it gives you that talking head recording from your webcam option It’s not there on some computers you may need to update to this Essential Pack.

No big deal, it’s free. In just a couple of clicks, and you’re there. Now, just a quick tip about Talking Head Two things… One, keep it interesting. Don’t keep the camera focused on one head Keep changing the scenes around if you can. Introduce props. White boards, whatever you need to make it interesting. And Two, you want to make sure that you are passionate you’re smiling, you’re talking about content that you love you’re delivering a message so make sure it comes across in your voice, in your style in your presentation. The final step in creating an engaging video is to put a little bit of editing. Now, you want to add some music
